BMC (British Motor Corporation) once owned mini that was when they used to produce nice mini's. Then Rover took over and they updated the mini a bit but still kept the original design. Then BMW took over and thats when it all changed the new mini's are alright but now there is going to be a completly new mini comming out!

The Mini Countryman

The first ever 4 wheel drive mini is coming out in 2010. FOUR wheel drive, FOUR seats, FOUR-door model. The Countryman name was used in one of the old mini's made by British Leyland so at least they kept the name original but is it anything like a mini. To be a mini it has to be small is it. It could be a brilliant mini or it could be plain boring. It might only be in production for a year. Lets hope its a good car and it does not ruin mini's reputation. It will cost around £48,000 the highest priced mini ever. The Mini One that is in production now only starts at around £11,000.

NEW MINI COUPE

After MINI revealed the Mini Countryman coming out in 2010, they then revealed a new Mini Coupe scheduled for 2011 to come out.  The mini is to mark 50 years of mini, but will the old mini fans like it. Well for the old mini fans BMW the owner of MINI might have coupe that look's a little bit like the classic MINI'S. The Mini has two seats and the  interior looks exactly like the current Mini's. The seats in the Mini Coupe are Sport seat. There are two clocks, one for telling the time and the other for recording lap time. This MINI has a decent sized 250 litre boot that is accessed from the exterior and from inside the car, via a lockable hatch. The Mini Coupe could be up against the  Mazda MX-5, Audi TT, MG TF all two seater coupe's. The Mini Coupe has the same 211 bhp (Brake Horse Power) 1.6 litre twin turbo as the John Cooper Works Mini. The grill at the front of the car is not a chrome grill as other Mini's, it is now a grill painted in the body colour.
